Loafer Creek, LLC, is a California Company whose business purpose is real property acquisition and development.  However, unlike most property developers, Loafer Creek has determined that environmental conservation and water procurement and protection should be placed at the commencement of the development process, rather than as an afterthought or purely in response to regulatory prohibitions.  This business philosophy has resulted in Loafer Creek obtaining certification of a more than 2,000 acre conservation mitigation bank located in Butte County.  Loafer Creek has also identified and acquired various properties in Northern California with significant water resources to insure water for future development as well as environmental needs.

                       

With the conservation mitigation bank and water resources in place, Loafer Creek is positioned to proceed with a plan of smart growth for its more than  30,000 acres of real property situated in the Northern Sacramento Valley.

                       

Loafer Creek’s Dove Ridge Conservation Bank provides a source of mitigation credits for public and private development projects that cannot proceed without mitigating environmental impacts. In this manner, Loafer Creek assists other public and private concerns in the responsible development of the north state.
